Anna Biernacki

Anna has been a member of the SFW Nose-Flute Ensemble since she joined in Sep. 2003 but was on sabbatical during the 2004/2005 season, while living in Hong Kong. Besides her love of the noseflute, Anna also indulges in other performing arts, including theatre - but mainly dance. Anna started dancing at the age of 6 & 1/2, and most of her training has been in ballet, which she studied for 10 years at Dance Alberta. Anna's performing experience also includes a few years of hip-hop and Polish dancing. Currently she is a member of Orchesis dance group at the U of A, where for this year's production she was a choreographer, and presented her first complete dance creation, "Outwad Moving". Anna loves exploring culture, learning languages and eating sushi with wasabi! Anna's hope for the future is to be a professional nose-flautist and tour the world playing the nose-flute. If that doesn't work out, she may choose to be a nose-flute manufacturer/marketer or an occupational therapist.
